2026 Summit
Seats are filling quickly, and registration will be closing soon for the Children’s Foundation of Mississippi’s 2026 Summit, Sowing Seeds of Success: Cultivating a Bright Future for Mississippi’s Children. We hope you will make plans to join us for this year’s TWO DAY event!
Sowing Seeds of Success will take place April 29-30, 2026, at the Clyde Muse Center in Pearl, Mississippi. Thanks to strong interest and growing demand for continuing education opportunities, we are expanding to two full days designed for deeper learning, stronger connections, and meaningful conversations about Mississippi’s children and families.
Tickets are $90 for one day and $160 for two days. Student tickets are $65 for one day and $110 for two days. Registration closes April 20, 2026.
Day 1 will feature the release of the new Mississippi KIDS COUNT Risk and Reach Report, along with a keynote panel discussion with Dr. Gabrielle Banks, Dr. Lance Evans, Sanford Johnson, Dr. Justin Turner, and Scott Waller, moderated by Dr. Linda Southward. We are also pleased to welcome Miss Mississippi 2025, Anna Leah Jolly, as our lunch speaker.
Day 2 will highlight the REACH Awardees, representatives from all 82 Mississippi counties who are doing important work to support children and families in their communities. Throughout the event, attendees can also enjoy our silent auction and vendors, offering additional ways to engage and support our work and more!
Continuing education credits are available! Child Care Providers may earn 5 contact hours for attending one day or 10 contact hours for both days. Educators may earn .5 CEU for one day or 1 CEU for both days. Social Workers may earn 5 CEUs for attending one day or 10 CEUs for both days.
