Bailey Shelton Ray
Bailey Shelton Ray serves as Director of Communications and Outreach at the Children’s Foundation of Mississippi (CFM). She joined CFM in 2022 and leads communications, outreach, and data storytelling efforts that support children and families across the state. In this role, she supports initiatives from concept to execution through program management, strategic storytelling, and cross-team coordination.
Born in Hattiesburg and raised in Jackson, Bailey returned to Hattiesburg for college before ultimately settling back in Jackson, where she now lives with her husband, Caleb. As a Mississippi native who attended both public and private schools, she brings a personal understanding of the disparities that shape outcomes for children and families across the state and is motivated by a belief in leaving people, places, and systems better than she found them.
Prior to joining CFM, Bailey worked independently in public relations, marketing, photography, and videography, supporting individuals and small businesses across Mississippi. Photography and videography remain personal passions and additional ways she contributes to CFM’s communications and storytelling.
Bailey holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi and remains deeply committed to improving outcomes for children and families across Mississippi.
