Dave Dennis
Dave Dennis is President of Specialty Contractors & Associates, Inc., a commercial and industrial subcontractor. Dave was appointed by the Board of Governors to the New Orleans Federal Reserve Board in November 2001 as a representative from the business community and served as Chairman for three full terms. He has a prolific record of participation in community, civic, and industry activities, currently serving as an Executive Committee member of both the Mississippi Economic Council and the Gulf Coast Business Council. Dave has served as Chairman of Leadership Mississippi, Chairman of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, State Chairman of Salute to Business and Industry, President of the Gulf Coast Economic Council, Chairman of the Walter Anderson Museum of Art, and State Chairman of BIPEC. He has been recognized as the Boy Scouts of America’s Distinguished Citizen of the Year, Mississippi’s Volunteer of the Year by the Mississippi Economic Development Council, National Volunteer of the Year by the Southern Economic Development Council, John R. Blossman Humanitarian of the Year, and received the DAR’s National Community Service Award. Dave and his wife, Jane, reside in Pass Christian. They have two children and two grandchildren.
