CFM report pinpoints areas where Mississippi children most need resources

The Children’s Foundation is pleased to release Mississippi’s Risk & Reach Report: Opportunities for Children, Youth and Communities, the first-ever report of its kind on the status of Mississippi’s approximately 771,800 children and youth. It identifies the needs (“risks”) of children and youth as well as the available opportunities (“reach”) in each of Mississippi’s 82 counties. The report also assigns a low to high-risk score to each county. Mississippi is one of only five states to create this kind of report, which was funded by the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
